| Ride on toys...how old? | | I don't mean the pedal kind, just the little ones the child sits on and uses their feet to roll along. I'm just wondering how old your kids were able to use them.People with babies near my youngest son's age are absolutely amazed that he can scoot around on his so well at 18 months...their babies can't move their's at all or can only go backwards while mine goes forward, backward, slow, fast, anywhere he wants to go. He's been able to move on his since he was just over 13 months old (he got it for Christmas and was riding it the same day).So I don't mean to be bragging or putting down other babies but I never really thought it was that unusual for them to be riding at this age so I don't know what to think. Is mine "advanced" or is it the other babies who are behind? How old were your babies able to use a Ride On toy? | |
| | | Being taken for a ride? | | Now it's not April and I think this really is an true story but it does come across as extemely unique - and does he pay for the ride?[em]blink[/em]See the cat who gets the bus every day in his old age![em]confused[/em]

| | If you said that Life is like a roller coaster, do you Enjoy the Ride? | | I'm not sure who said that, but life does feel like riding aroller coaster, with the ups and downs, happiness and sadness. the excitement and scare mix in one. But at this point, I did enjoy the "ride". Some bad experiences in the past, but looking back, I know I can laugh just to think the stupidity I made. Anybody else experiment this roller coaster of life? | |
| | do you like to ride a motorbike or a car? | | i prefer to ride a car rather than a motorbike because motorbike is more prawn to accident specially in highway area! i said this because my brother got accident through the motorbike, which he seriously got injured and a broken front teeth which he suffered for about a month due to the accident, that's why i choose to use a car rather than the motorbike! to all of you guys out their! which do you like to ride a motorbike or a car? and what are the experience do you have and choose this?____ | |
| | What do you do when dogs chase you when you ride? | | Usually I ride in town and dogs chasing me is not a big issue. However, recently I rode out through the country and a dog chased me. Normally, they will chase you, but I can get over and then they retreat when they see you are not a threat. This time he didn't back off. He jumped up and grabbed at my shoe! I swerved and almost wrecked. When I got off the bike he ran away. I would like to know the safest way to deal with dogs chasing you when you are riding. Anything work real good without harming the dog? I can't afford a law suit right now!!! | |
| | Where is your favorite place to ride? | | My friends gave me a bike a few months ago. I used to ride when I was a teen but hadn't ridden in quite awhile. I would really like to do some trail riding but haven't tried that in years either. I usually ride around town some (mostly for the cross training since I run) but sometimes I like to just take off through the country! Where do you like to ride and why do you ride? Just to save gas? -- that's not a bad idea either!! Go green!!! | |
| | Ticket to Ride | | A boy in the UK tore open what he thought was the envelope containing the results of his recent school exams to discover that indeed he had been awarded a certificate - in "catching a Bus"!! The bemused boy discovered that he had been assessed competent in approaching a bus stop. Waiting for the bus and boarding and a safe manner. Finally he was informed that he had successfully "observed from the windows"! He had attended a summer project that had involved catching a bus to and from the project centre. He hadn't realised that that catching the bus was being assessed. He remains somewhat bemused and amused by the whole thing. He is not alone. Have you read of any daft "qualifications" recently? | |
| | Do you know how to ride a bicycle? | | These days not many have the experience of riding a bicycle. If you should hail from the suburbs or rural areas, chances are you would know how to use a bicycle or even a pony. These days, because of heavy traffic on our roads, parents do not want their children to learn how to ride a bicycle. My wife insisted that my daughter and son learn this skills. We took them to a nearby park and they learned to ride. Not so good though and they fell a couple of things and had bruises to show for their efforts.Today many people just start with learning to drive a cap and do not know how to ride a bicycle or a motorcycle? What is your experience and your views on this? | |
| | Ride or Drive? | | Most of the time I do prefer to take for a ride, especially when I am not in a hurry. Because I can have my time, and I have the luxury to use it in a way that I like. Bad sad to say, that most of the times I need to take a drive. How about you, which would you prefer, to take for a drive or go for a ride? | |
