| Do you have a paper shredder? | | If you don't, how do you get rid of all your personal stuff? They say ripping it doesnt work cuz people could piece it together. Why dont you have a shredder? | |

| | do you shred your bills or throw them in the bin???? | | I used to throw them in the bin( trash) until I went on the Internet and learned about all the dodges there were, I then used to flush them down the loo, My hubby bought us a shredder a few months ago and it is brilliant, I have it set up in the study and after I have checked all my receipts and bills and kept the one I have to hold onto, I shred the rest, It is a god feeling to know that there is no one can read them outside of my own home, what do you do with yours? | |
| | Poor Death Row Murder's Dont You Feel Bad for Them? | | Well I don't. I posted a discussion on the death penalty and while the majority of people were for it there were some people that were against it. That is fine. I think everyone should have their opinion on it. But the last response I got
just struck a nerve with me. Here we are talking about people that are less then animals, people that have taken the lives and ruined the lives of every family. The victim and the families that have to live with what was done to their Son, Daughter, Mother, Father, Husband, Niece, Nephew. The Grandparents. All these people that are left behind after a family member is murdered. Left to wonder what their last moments were like.You and I cannot even imagine the hell these people are put through. We do not want to know what that type of hell is like.
So we can sit here and past judgment on them. But some of us it seems feel sorry for these animals . I choose to call them animals because they do not act like human beings. Actually they are lower then most animals. Anyway, I get this comment that people who are on death row are treated inhumanely, they are parked like cattle to await their execution like cattle. I heard a saying one time that goes "Don't do today what you can put off until tomorrow" and for some reason that stuck in my head and unfortunately has become my motto. I'm always saying "I'm not doing anything tomorrow so I'll do it then"...only when tomorrow comes there are other things to be done so yesterdays work is put off...again.
There was a time when I ran around all day making sure everything got done in record time and still there was time to do more but it tired me out. Could be that I do it now because I'm getting older and get tired easier.

| | My Hobby | | Good Morning every one this is the paper quilling I keep going on and on about, I made several necklaces for a Yard sale, and not one seemed interested, as well I made a chess board, it contained 100 of the medallions. 64 for the chess board the color was dark green and light silver gray, the other 36 medallions were used to go around the 64, The whole works was sandwiched between two sheets of Plexiglas, and then 4 wholes were drilled in the corners and screws with caps were put through to keep every thing to gether and they also made little legs, The end result was beautiful, and even if I say so my self, I am very proud of the chess set and it was donated to the Alzheimer's and Dementia Society for their charity auction, I also designed the chess pieces and made them with the paper quilling, Sort of a one of in the chess world, | |
